MYSA Mindfulness — MB-EAT Program Terms
1. Program Overview The MB-EAT Program is an educational and experiential group program based on Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT). It is not psychotherapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for individual clinical care. Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
2. Enrollment and Payment Full payment is due at the time of registration. By completing payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. Early bird pricing of $550 CAD is available until April 14, 2026. Full price is $600 CAD thereafter.
3. Group Confirmation The May 2026 group requires a minimum of 8 participants to run. If this minimum is not reached by April 30, 2026, you will be refunded in full to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. If the group confirms, no refunds will be issued after that date.
4. Refund Policy Once the group has confirmed (on or before April 30, 2026), no refunds will be issued. If you are unable to continue the program after it begins, you may request a transfer of up to 3 missed sessions to a future cohort, subject to availability. No guarantees are made regarding future cohort dates or availability.
5. Attendance The program consists of 12 live sessions. Sessions are not recorded. Regular attendance is strongly encouraged — participants who attend all sessions are best positioned to benefit from the full program. Each session builds on the previous one, and the group context is an integral part of the learning experience.
6. Suitability and Participation MYSA Mindfulness reserves the right to decline enrollment or discontinue participation for individuals whose needs fall outside the scope of this program, including those requiring acute mental health support. If this applies, you will be referred to more appropriate support and issued a full refund.
7. Confidentiality Sessions take place in a small group setting. Participants are expected to keep all personal information shared by other group members strictly confidential. This is a condition of participation.
8. No Guarantee of Results Participation in the MB-EAT program does not guarantee specific outcomes. Individual results vary based on a range of factors including engagement, practice, and personal circumstances.
9. Payment Processing Payments are processed securely by Stripe. MYSA Mindfulness does not store your payment information. By completing payment, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy, available at stripe.com.
10. Privacy Your personal information is collected solely for the purpose of program administration and communication. MYSA Mindfulness handles personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Your information will not be shared with third parties except as required to deliver the program (e.g. Stripe for payment processing, Zoom for session delivery).
11. Limitation of Liability MYSA Mindfulness is not responsible for any outcomes, decisions, or changes in eating behaviour that arise during or following participation in the MB-EAT program. Participation is voluntary and at your own discretion. MYSA Mindfulness is not liable for any physical, emotional, or psychological effects that may arise in connection with the program. Participation in this program may involve guided awareness practices and reflection on eating-related patterns, emotions, and personal experiences. Participants are responsible for assessing their own readiness to engage with this material. MYSA Mindfulness is not liable for emotional responses, distress, or the surfacing of personal material that may arise during or following participation. If you are experiencing acute mental health concerns, disordered eating requiring clinical treatment, or any medical condition, you are encouraged to seek appropriate professional support before or alongside participation in this program.
